Product Description
SRD-LB Low Fluorescence Lubricant is an extreme pressure lubricant made from hydrogenated lubricating oil and vegetable oil through high temperature modification. The product can be used as lubricant in fresh water, salt water, saturated salt water drilling fluid and water-based drilling fluid systems with different relative densities. Under high temperature and high pressure, the product can form a solid chemical film on the metal surface, effectively reduce the friction resistance of the metal contact surface, reduce the wear of drilling tools and other metal parts, and have a good lubrication effect.

Method of use
1. SRD-LB is mainly used as a lubricant in water-based drilling fluid.
2. It can be directly added to circulating drilling fluid.
3. Recommended dosage is 1%~3% based on different site performance requirement, drilling fluid density and system.
4. After the initial treatment, periodic treatment shall be carried out according to the site requirements to ensure the lubrication effect. In seawater system, brine system and saturated brine drilling fluid system, higher dosage is required.
5. The effect of treatment is also related to factors such as permeability, solid control equipment and dilution rate. Small field test shall be conducted before on-site treatment. Test to done to ensure that the performance adjustment meets the expectation;
6. If the torque of power tong increases and drilling speed decreases, consider whether the product content in the drilling fluid is insufficient.

Precautions
1. If the concentration of calcium ion, magnesium ion and other metal ions in the drilling fluid is too high, which may produce viscoelastic colloid and "paste". The content of calcium and magnesium ions should be detected before use.
2. If working temperature exceeds 180 ℃, a small field test shall be conducted in the system first.
3. if it is necessary to increase the product dosage in high solid drilling fluid or salt water drilling fluid, the dosage shall be determined through small first test first.

Safety and handling
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Treated as industrial chemicals. Refer to the material safety data sheet (MSDS) for detailed safety information.

Packaging and storage
The product is packed in 200L iron drums or 55 Gal drums. To be stored in sealed container to avoid heavy sunshine and rain.
