S2 Full-Angle Gyroscope (Wireline Steering Tool)

Small radius | High temperature | High precision | Short north seeking time | Continuous survey

I. Introduction
S2 Full-Angle Gyro-Inertial Guidance Instrument is a self-navigating north-seeking device capable of operating at temperatures up to 125°C, equipped with a high-temperature, high-precision gyro sensor renowned for its exceptional impact and vibration resistance, compact size, lightweight design, and low power consumption. It is designed for demanding applications such as oil drilling, enabling trajectory measurement and precise guidance even within casing environments or under ferromagnetic interference conditions.

S2 Gyroscopic inclinometer features both point measurement mode (north-seeking mode) and continuous measurement mode. In continuous mode, it enables rapid and uninterrupted measurement of well deviation and azimuth, provides a more accurate and intuitive depiction of the drilling trajectory, reduces measurement time compared to traditional north-seeking methods, minimizes inclinometer measurement duration, and significantly enhances operational efficiency.

S2 Full-attitude inertial gyroscope is currently the smallest-sized (minimum diameter 38 mm) gyroscope with excellent shock resistance, specifically designed for wellbore trajectory re-measurement, window opening side drilling, directional steering azimuth determination, and conventional oil well orientation operations. It boasts high precision, compact size, strong impact resistance, durability, all components rated for temperatures up to 125°C, and superior reliability. For applications below 125°C, no thermal insulation cylinder is required; it supports self north-seeking capability, wired ground-based direct inclinometer reading, and other functions, making it ideal for wellbore trajectory measurement, casing window opening directional single/multi-point measurements, and particularly suitable for directional parameter measurement in environments with magnetic interference.
